It's a unanimous request for beginners in network marketing: "How can I get free mlm leads?"
I have a few thoughts (arguments) about this and I will now subject you to them.
First, technically, you CAN get free mlm leads, meaning you do not have to pay money for them in the way of lead buying or pay per click, or other forms of paid advertising, So, if that's all you are after , see ya. However, I invite you to stay and let me tell you why free mlm leads are NOT really free.
Let's start with the most commonly used form of free traffic generation: Article Marketing. Now, there are certain people that employ this method and rake in free mlm leads by the truckload every day. "Great!", you say, "Where do I sign up?" Well, you can get started here, if you'd like to learn how to do it from someone that really does rake them in.
Now, the great thing about Article Marketing is that, when it starts working, you can't turn the free mlm leads off even if you wanted to. The problem is that it takes at least 90 – 100 days to start seeing any significant lead flow due to the Internet "Powers -That-Be". It takes that long for them to make sure you aren't just some fly-by-night operation. Once they see you adding content every day and that you know what you are doing, you be good to go. Just don't expect to make any real money for 3-6 months. There are some tools like Tribepro, Buzzify, and article submitters that can speed up this process. You can join them for free, but the pro versions, which you will need eventually, will cost you something. Usually a small monthly fee.
Without tools like these, you will need to submit your articles to various directories manually. Which brings me to the main reason I say that free mlm leads are NOT really free: Time. It takes a lot of time and effort to do all the things you need to do to market with articles effectively. Having just a few tools that can submit to various places in a couple of minutes, far outweighs the burden of doing it manually.
So, the question then becomes, "What is my time worth?" My preference is to go with paid traffic because it is immediate. Not necessarily because I love instant gratification, which I do, but because I'm in business to make money NOW, not 6 months from now. Most brand new marketers won't be around in 6 months, if they haven't made any money.
I'll throw in another reason why I don't think free mlm leads are really free: Mindset.
"Huh?", you say? "What's that got to do with anything?" Plenty.
Listen, I know that the whole reason most people get into network marketing is financial. I understand the need to be frugal and watch every dime. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about being cheap. Some people just want everything for free and I need to let you know that mindset will only get you so far. The successful people in our industry spend tons of money on tools and information. So, as your business takes off, invest in yourself. It will pay you back many times over.
So, yeah, you can get free mlm leads, but just realize that it will take time. If you have the time, go for it. If you want to get started and make money today, invest a little bit in the #1 lead system and training library for a 10 dollar trial. Then employ your free mlm lead methods in conjuction with paid methods. Then you'll be cooking with gas…
